Booking Conditions:
1. Once you submit your request form, one of our mangers will get back to you with a response as quickly as possible. The client must submit a valid email address on the Request form. This email address will be used for all future correspondence relating to your booking. All care must be taken by the client to ensure that the information provided in the Request form is correct. Firn Travel takes no responsibility for any incorrect information submitted.
2. Deposit 20- 40% of the total payment in accordance with the length of your trip will be made in advance. The rest of the payment is only due upon your arrival. No fees and additional charges. Please note, that the booking may be charged in other currency (in rubles) to the one you chose on the website. The cost of your booking is converted using our bank's exchange rates on the day of the sending of your invoice.
3. In the case of any problem or complaint, it is imperative that the client informs us at the earliest opportunity in order that we have the chance to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Booking of air/train tickets
Ulan-Ude and Irkutsk is the usually starting points to explore the Baikal region. You can reach their either by train along the famous Trans-Siberian railway or by plane. The duration of the Moscow - Irkutsk/Ulan-Ude flight is about 6 hours, whereas traveling by train takes you three and a half or four days.

Visa support
You must obtain a Russian visa from the Russian Consulate before you set out.
We will provide you with an invitation (a tourist visa support letter, if you plan to stay in Russia no longer than one month) which comprises two papers: reservation confirmation and travel voucher. The invitation is required by a Russian consulate to be able to process your visa. It usually takes from 1 hour to 1 day to be issued. For an invitation it is necessary the following information your name, dates and points of arrival / departure in Russia, your itinerary and a copy of your valid passport copy by fax or attached file as an image.
A copy of the invitation is acceptable to the consulate (a fax, a printed out scanned copy), but sometimes they require originals (can be sent by post). When you receive this invitation, you can take it along with the other documents to the consulate and apply for your Russian visa.
After arrival in Russia you will have 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) to register your visa according to the law of the status of foreigners in Russia.
