Bargudzhin-Tokum - "the country of light"

This is a fascinating trip to one of the most beautiful place of the Baikal region - the Barguzin valley. You will see a unique natural formations and sacral places of Shamanism and Buddhism. There are some beautiful sites such as Suvo "Saxon", the stones of "Bukhe-Shulun" (the patron of Barguzin valley), Sphynx, and the Ininsky garden of stones
You will have an opportunity to take hot mineral springs, which are very famous for their curative properties.

1st day: Ulan-Ude - Ivolginsky Datsan - Buryat village
Arrival in Ulan-Ude. After breakfast a guided city tour. Visit to the History Museum. Excursion to the Ivolginsky Datsan, the most important Buddhist temple in Russia (40 km from Ulan-Ude). Visit to the Buryat village to enjoy folklore entertainment and traditional Buryat dinner. Return to the hotel. (B,L,D)
2nd day: Ulan-Ude - Ust-Barguzin
After breakfast drive to the Ust-Barguzin settlement (264 km). Accommodation at homes of local families (homestay). Enjoy real country cooking and experience Siberian banya. (B, L, D)
3rd day: Ust-Barguzin - Barguzin valley
After breakfast an excursion to the famous Barguzin valley (90 km). Excursion to the landscape significant site Suvo "Saxon". Visit to the sacral place "Bukhe-Shulun" (bull-stone). Excursion to the Ininsky garden of stones (nature sanctuary). Drive to the Alla mineral springs (140 km). Cooking on campfire. Overnight in summerhouses or in tents. (B,L,D)
4th day: Alla mineral springs
After breakfast walking along the trail of Evenks` hunters. Free time to explore. Cooking on campfire. Overnight like previous day. (B, L, D)
5th day: Alla mineral springs - Kuchiger mineral springs - Umkhey mineral springs
Drive to Kuchiger mineral springs (20 km). Visit to the Evenks` culture center "Yukte" in Alla village. Depart for Umkhey mineral springs, which is located on the island at the upper Barguzin River. Opportunities to take thermal mineral springs, to ascent to Umkhey mountain (1400m), and to fishing. Cooking on campfire. Overnight in summerhouses or in tents. (B, L, D)
6th day: Umkhey mineral springs - Svyatoy Nos peninsula (Zabaikalsky National Park)
Drive to Chivyrkuisky Gulf (270 km). By the way visit to sacral place "Yanzhima" near to the Yarikto village. Cooking on campfire. Overnight in tents. (B, L, D)
7th-8th day: Zabaikalsky National Park
At leisure in the Chivyrkuisky and Barguzinsky Gulf with opportunities to make a walking, to try the mineral (thermal) baths, to swim in Lake Baikal, to fishing, or to make an extra excursion to the Ushkany Islands with the biggest rookery of the Baikal Seals (nerpa). Cooking on campfire. Overnight in tents (B, L, D)
9th day: Zabaikalsky national park - Ulan-Ude
Morning departure to Ulan-Ude (290 km). Accommodation at hotel. Free time. (B,L,D)
10th day:
