We invite you to take a fascinating horseback riding to one of the most beautiful region of Lake Baikal - Barguzin valley. You will get acquainted with the history and culture, customs and way of living of local peoples. This tour will take you to places where ancient Evenks` hunters lived. You will have an opportunity to take hot mineral bath. The untouched and pristine beauty of nature and the crystal clear lakes of glacial hollow will give you impressions and memories for a lifetime.
1st day: Ulan-Ude - Ivolginsky Datsan - Buryat village
Arrival in Ulan-Ude. After breakfast a guided city tour. Visit to the History Museum. Excursion to the Ivolginsky Datsan, the most important Buddhist temple in Russia (40 km from Ulan-Ude). Visit to the Buryat village to enjoy folklore entertainment and traditional Buryat dinner. Return to the hotel. (B,L,D)
2nd day: Ulan-Ude - Umkhey Island
All day transfer to the starting point of the route Umkhey village (about 520 km from Ulan-Ude). With stop for lunch in the village of Ust-Barguzin. Overnight in tents. (B,L,D)
3rd day: Umkhey - lake Aquarium - Shergihan River
Meet horses & preparation. Start horseback riding from the checkpoint of Dzherginsky Nature Reserve to the beautiful lake called Aquarium. Cooking on campfire. Overnight at tents camp near to Shergihan River. (B,L,D)
4th-5th day: Urgon River - Biranhur River - Kovyli River
We continue our ride to Urgon River through the valleys of three rivers Biranhur, Kovyli. Cooking on the campfire. Overnight in tents. (B,L,D)
6th day: Urgon River - lake Boolon-Tamur
Continue riding along Urgon River to the mountain lake Boolon-Tamur. While riding you will observe beautiful natural sights including beautiful waterfall and the heart of the reserve sacred relic hollow of glacial lakes. Cooking on the campfire. Overnight in tents. (B,L,D)
7th day: lake Boolon-Tamur
At leisure on lake with opportunities for fishing and discovering the surroundings followed by visits the ancient sacred place Boolon-Tamur. According to your desire we can trek the Alpine lake with visiting a place of a panoramic view of the relic glacial Amutskaya hollow. Cooking on the campfire. Overnight in tents. (B,L,D)
8th day: lake Amut - lake Boolon-Tamur
Riding to the biggest mountain lake of the hollow - lake Amut and return by other way to the lake Boolon-Tamur. Cooking on the campfire. Overnight in tents. (B,L,D)
9th - 11th day: Biranhur River - Umkhey
Riding to Biranhur River. Return to Umkhey village. Cooking on the campfire. Overnight in tents. (B,L,D)
12th day: Umkhey - Svyatoy Nos peninsula, Zabaikalsky National Park
Drive from Umkhey village to the Svyatoy Nos peninsula (300 km). Cooking on the campfire. Overnight in tents. (B,L,D)
13th day: Chivyrkuisky Gulf - Ust-Barguzin
Motor boat excursion to the thermal mineral springs in Zmeinaya bay. Transfer to the Ust-Barguzin settlement. Accommodation at homes of local families (homestay). Enjoy real country cooking and experience Siberian banya. (B,L,D)
14th day: Ust-Barguzin - Ulan-Ude
After breakfast, departure for Ulan-Ude (264 km). Accommodation at hotel. Free time. (B,L,D)
15th day: Ulan-Ude
Transfer to airport. (B)
