This tour is a unique opportunity to explore the most important Buddhist temples and sacral places in Butyatia - the center of Buddhism in Russia, see the unique incorruptible body of Pandito Khambo Lama Dashi-Dorzho Itigilov, meeting with Buddhist monks, and of course discover the amazing beauty of Lake Baikal.

1st day: Ulan-Ude
Arrival in Ulan-Ude, the capital of the Republic of Buryatia. Transfer to hotel. After breakfast a guided tour of the city. Visit to the History Museum. Visit to the Buddhist Temple Duinkhor, the residence of Pandido Khambo-lama (the spiritual leader of Russian Buddhists). Return to the hotel. (B,L,D)
2nd day: Ulan-Ude - Ivolginsky Datsan - Ulan-Ude
After breakfast visit to the Ivolginsky Datsan, the most important Buddhist temple in Russia (40 km from Ulan-Ude). A unique opportunity to see the miracle of Buddhism: the preserved body of Pandito Khambo Lama Dashi-Dorzho Itigilov. Visit to the sacred Yangazhinskaya valley. Return to the hotel. (B,L,D)
3 rd day: Murochinsky Datsan - Kyakhta
Drive to the Murochinsky Datsan "Baldan Breybun" (the oldest Buddhist temple in Transbaikalia), near to the old merchants` town of Kyakhta on the Mongolia border. Visit to the sacred rock, where it`s possible to see a unique sign of Buddha. Accommodation at hotel in Kyakhta. (B,L,D)
4 th day: Kyakhta - Tamchinsky Datsan - Ulan-Ude
Visit to the Tamchinsky Datsan (Buddhistic center in the Imperial Russia in the period from 1741-1937), situated on the shore of Goose lake. Return to Ulan-Ude. Accommodation at hotel. (B,L,D)
5 th day: Ulan-Ude - Azagatsky Datsan - Novokizhinginsk
After breakfast visit to the Atsagatsky Datsan (50 km from Ulan-Ude), ex-residence of Agvan Dorzhiev - master of Dalai-Lama XIII. Meet the head of Datsan. Drive to Novokizhinginsk settlement (90 km from the Atsagatsky Datsan). Accommodation in home stay. (B,L,D)
6 th day: Kizhinginsky Datsan - Novokizhinginsk
Visit to the Kizhinginsky Datsan, one of the most important centers of Buddhistic philosophical education. Accommodation in home stay in Novokizhinginsk. (B,L,D)
7 th day: Egituysky Datsan - Egituy
Visit to the Egituysky Datsan (90 km from Novokizhinginsk), where you will have a great opportunity to see a unique sandalwood statue of Buddha. Accommodation in home stay in the Egituy settlement. (B,L,D)
8 th day: Aninsky Datsan - Ulan-Ude
Visit to the Aninsky Datsan, in this temple Lama Dashi-Dorzho Itigilov spent 23 years of his life. Return to Ulan-Ude. Accommodation in hotel. (B,L,D)
9 th day: Ulan-Ude - Sykhaya
Drive to the Sykhaya settlement (184 km from Ulan-Ude). Accommodation in families. Enjoy real Siberian cuisine. Russian banya. (B,L,D)
10 th day: Sykhaya
After breakfast excursion around the village with visits to famous places of interest and drive to the shore of sacred Lake Baikal. Return back to the village. Russian banya. (B,L,D)
11 th day: Sykhaya - Ulan-Ude
