Yacht-tour on the Sacred Lake Baikal
We invite you to take a yacht cruise in one of the most beautiful areas of Lake Baikal. Through your trip, you will be able to most fully experience the splendor and magnitude of Baikal and enjoy its striking, primeval landscapes. You can relax to the gentle rustle of the sails and waves, try out your luck fishing, swim in the crystal clear waters of the Chivyrkuisky and Barguzinsky Gulfs, and have a romantic time on the secluded beaches of untouched nature.
1st day: Ulan-Ude - Ivolginsky Datsan - Buryat village
After breakfast a guided city tour. Visit to the History Museum. Excursion to the Ivolginsky Datsan, the most important Buddhist temple in Russia (40 km from Ulan-Ude). Visit to the Buryat village to enjoy folklore entertainment and traditional Buryat dinner. Return to the hotel. (B,L,D)
2nd - 7th day: Ulan-Ude - Barguzinsky Gulf - Chivyrkuysky Gulf - Svyatoy Nos (Sacred Nose) - peninsula -Ushkany Islands
After breakfast drive to the Maksimikha settlement (230 km) on a shore of the Berguzinsky Gulf. Your travels will last 5 days, during which you will ascend to the plateau of Svyatoy Nos (1,877 m), from which there is a fabulous view of the Barguzinsky and Chivyrkuysky Gulfs, with fantastic opportunities for photo and video filming. You will also take an excursion to one of the most hidden corners of the Zabaikalsky National Park, the Ushkany Islands with the biggest rookery of the Baikal Seals (nerpa). You will be able to relax and take thermal baths in Zmeinaya bay. Overnight and meals on board. (B,L,D)
8th day: Ulan-Ude
After breakfast, return to Ulan-Ude (300 km). Accommodation at hotel. Free time. (B,L,D)
9th day: Ulan-Ude - Old Believers` village - Ulan-Ude
After breakfast visit the Ethnographic Museum and see collections of traditional dwellings, clothes and furnishings of all ethnic groups of the region. Visit to the Old-Believers' village (a Russian religious group that split off from the Russian Orthodox Church in the seventeenth century) and introduction to the original folklore and cuisine of Transbaikalian Old Believers. Return to the hotel. Gala Dinner. (B,L,D)
10th day:
Transfer to airport.(B)
